Brake Repair & Maintenance
Whether your vehicle’s brake system is a disc, drum, front, rear, ceramic or metallic system, Curt's Service is able to take care of all your vehicle’s braking repair and maintenance needs.
Potential Brake Problems
Auto brake failure is a serious, yet largely preventable problem. Anything unusual, such as a squeak, warning light or unusual feeling in the brakes should be inspected by a trained technician. For example, if your ABS warning light is on but you can still use your brakes, it likely means you will still have standard braking ability, although in the event of an emergency stop, the vehicle’s ABS system is not going to work as it is designed to. It’s important to note that a red brake warning light indicates a deeper safety issue such as a hydraulic or pressure problem. This should be inspected ASAP, and your vehicle should be towed or driven to with extreme caution immediately to a service center.
Curt’s Service recommends checking your vehicle’s brakes every 10,000 miles.
If you suspect your vehicle is demonstrating other symptoms of brake problems, contact us today to schedule an inspection.
